Delonghi EC702 Review

Delonghi EC702 Review
The Delonghi EC702 is one of DeLonghi's most popular espresso machines for the home. This item is going to give a short overview of this semi-automatic espresso appliance to hopefully educate you on its benefits.

So what is a semi-automatic espresso machine? Well, in alignment to make espresso in a single of them, you'll want to grind your personal beans and use a portafilter to infuse water into the surrounds to make espresso. Since there is work engaged, for demonstration it is not a impel button machine then it is categorized as a semi-automatic espresso appliance.

Th Delonghi EC702 is made mostly from plastic parts. Some reviewers have assessed the appliance down for this reason. although, because the appliance is an entry-level espresso appliance, if it was made from all stainless iron alloy components then the cost would have to be advanced dramatically, which would then give persons another cause to complain. Yes the machine is light, but I in person don't believe this provides any problems other than having to use two hands to secure the portafilter within the assembly head.

Delonghi EC702 Review

The Delonghi EC702 has a cup warmer on the top of the appliance. This is a nice little characteristic that even some more expensive espresso appliances don't have. All you need to do is location your cups on the top of the appliance, face down and allow 15 minutes for the heat to warm them up. Why is using a warm cup critical for espresso? Because the allowance of liquid you get in espresso is so small that if it were to make contact with a small cup, it would have a spectacular impact on warmth. If the machine came without one then you'd have to tilt some boiling water into the cup prior to brewing in alignment to heat it up. In detail the warmth would drop very fast and this would weaken the flavour. Of course having a cup warmer is not absolutely vital but it is a luxury. This method works very well.

Remember that you need to aim the steamer low down in your milk jug to heat the milk for latte and you need to place it higher up in the milk to froth it for Cappuccino. The steamer on the machine is very good and works without any problems. The alternative is yours!

All in all, I would probably acquiesce with most of the reviewers when they state that the Delonghi EC702 Review is likely the best entry-level espresso appliance going at the moment.
